Relationships 003 Apologies
Apparently this is a skill, and one that I lack
Hi, my name is Mr.Princess and I have no issue with admitting when I'm wrong and explaining my intentions.
I learned sometime last year, that explaining how I didn't intend to hurt someone's feelings and I will do my best to communicate clearer in the future, is not an apology to most recipients. Because I did not say the words "I'm sorry"
In my mind, I would much rather understand someone's intentions than hear "I'm sorry" with no further context. And why would anyone be explaining themselves in this situation if they weren't sorry and trying to clarify to prevent further miscommunications??
(Mr.Princess learned that a lot of things they do earnestly, are things mean people do, just to be mean)
